WAL-IT services is looking for a Security Project & Governance Management Service for its client for a Freelance mission :

The Security Project & Governance Management Service is responsible for overseeing the governance, contracting, and follow-up of security projects within the Security Services framework. This role ensures projects align with security strategies, are delivered effectively, and adhere to governance standards. The role involves managing project contracts, tracking progress, and contributing to the development and maintenance of the security governance framework.

Scope:

• Project Governance :

• Establish and maintain governance frameworks for security projects, ensuring alignment with organizational security policies and industry best practices.
• Define project standards, methodologies, and reporting procedures.
• Monitor project compliance with governance requirements.

• Contract Management :

• Manage the contracting process for security projects, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
• Ensure contracts meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor vendor performance against contract terms.

• Project Follow-Up & Tracking :

• Track the progress of security projects, monitoring milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
• Identify and address project risks and issues.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.

• Automation Initiatives :

• Support the implementation of automation initiatives within security projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for automation and work with technical teams to develop and deploy automated solutions.

• Governance Framework Development :

• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of the security governance framework.
• Research and recommend updates to security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure the governance framework is aligned with evolving threats and regulatory requirements.

• Stakeholder Management :

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, Legal, Compliance) and external vendors to ensure project success.
